Trivia Question!
What does "GEX" stand for? Hint: it's an acronym. First respondant with the right answer will win a copy of the ISO/ASTM Standards on Dosimetry for Radiation Processing reference book ($90USD value). Second place is the much-sought-after personalized Pen-Vac (hand-operated suction device for handling dosimeters). For the worst answer, we'll humiliate you in the next issue of the newsletter and send you some leftovers from the GEX holiday party. submit>

Dosimeter Handling Tip from a Customer
One of our customers sent us an interesting tip for handling delicate dosimeter film. He uses the plastic covering from a typical overhead fluorescent light as a work table surface. Evidently, the bumpy plastic surface allows the tweezers to slip easily under the films, making film handling much faster. Weird but true!
