SNOWED UNDER!
The Denver metro area is finally operating again after the Blizzard of 2003. The metro area received 3 to 6 feet of snow from the largest snowstorm to hit the area in 90 years. GEX was closed for nearly four days because we were snowed-in at our homes. The heavy snow on the roofs of office buildings around the city were considered a safety hazard and closed GEX for an additional day. Here's a photo looking out from the GEX office the day we reopened.

POLYSTYRENE REFERENCE MONITORING POSITION HOLDERS
For Reduced Routine Process Monitoring Variability
GEX is pleased to announce availability of our polystyrene reference position holders in large quantities. Both the P2010 (6mm thick on each side designed for gamma and 5-10MeV Electron Beam) and P2020 (3mm thick on each side designed for 3-5MeV Electron Beam) were designed to create an electron equilibrium environment holder for our dosimeters that approximates the calibration conditions of the Risø Calibration Phantoms. The holders are disposable, and used everyday should maintain their integrity for about a year (8000kGy of total absorbed dose). The holders sell for $20.00.
