ASTM MEETING IN DENVER
Just a reminder about the ASTM meeting at the Adams Mark Hotel in Denver, Colorado, June 18-20. If you will be in town - see you there!

PRODUCT ALERT
GEX recommends using only the bulbs provided by the manufacturer (GEX Part #P4140) for replacement of the Genesys 20 lamp. A lamp having equivalent electrical specifications as the recommended bulb may cause readout errors and other problems. Customers have reported this problem to us, and we were able to fix the problem by switching back to the P4140 bulb. After some research, it has been determined that the glass itself or the coating on the glass of other bulbs may be different from the recommended bulb, influencing the reading of the spectrophotometer.

PRICE of CTA DOSIMETERS MORE THAN DOUBLES
Fuji Film recently announced a price increase of almost 240% for its CTA Film according to Japanese users. This is one reason why Risø and GEX have been working hard to develop and validate the RisøScan software which will allow users to measure segments of the B3 film on a standard PC scanner. More details to come!
