Dosimeters can be calibrated and used for special low temperature processing with liquid nitrogen, dry ice, or ice or under normal ambient temperature irradiation processing 

Post irradiation heat treated B3 dosimeters remain stable for one year or more 

The post irradiation stability of B3 dosimeters eliminates the post irradiation time control requirements associated with other dosimeters and allowing reliable post irradiation measurement investigation.
