GEX Celebrates 10 years of WINdose Dosimetry!

On November 12, 1999, GEX shipped the first commercial order for GEX B3WINdose dosimeters. Our product line has grown, some faces have changed and our customer base continues to expand. Simply put: a great many good things have happened over the past 10 years and we’re excited to continue our pledge towards quality and innovation in the advancement of Dosimetry for Radiation Processing. We extend a grateful thank you to all of our Customers, Partners, Employees, Colleagues and friends that have helped us forever change the landscape of industrial dosimetry!

GEX and Fuji CTA Dosimetry Film

GEX is now an international distributor of Fujifilm FTR-125, better known as CTA film. After some questions about the market availability of this product, we are pleased to announce that Fuji will continue manufacture of this important high dose dosimeter product due to demand. As such, GEX chose to be involved in the distribution since many people around the world have asked us for this product over the past 10 years.

With a dose range up to 300 kGy this product covers a dose range that other dosimeters cannot. GEX has distribution rights for the Americas, Europe, Malaysia and Thailand. ASTM 6th Dosimetry Workshop Recap

The 6th ASTM International Dosimetry Workshop was held near Karlsruhe Germany. 66 participants from over 20 countries attended. In depth hands-on sessions were well received and two recently approved standards were reviewed. A number of poster papers were displayed and GEX along with technology partners from Risø and Aerial demonstrated a broad array of dosimetry solutions.

NPL CIRM 29 – New Version Released 2009

Peter Sharpe and Arne Miller have revised NPL CIRM 29 (first released 10 years ago) which provides guidance on the calibration of dosimetry systems. GEX promotes NPL CIRM 29 as a wonderfully helpful guidance document for the calibration of dosimeters.
